Ribbon cutting ceremony to take place during Chamber’s Business After Hours Event
The American Red Cross will officially open a new Sandusky office location during a ribbon cutting ceremony on Thursday, June 28, 2018.  The Erie County Chamber of Commerce will hold a Business After Hours event at the new location, 404 Columbus Avenue, from 5:00 – 6:30 pm.

Chamber President Pamela Smith-Droll will join Lara Kiefer, Executive Director of the Red Cross Lake Erie/Heartland Chapter to cut the ribbon at approximately 5:45 pm.

“The Red Cross has long been part of the fabric of the Erie County Community,” said Kiefer. “We have now rightsized our facility to enable us to be good stewards of our donor’s dollars, while continuing to respond to home fires, install smoke alarms, teach first aid and CPR, assist members of our military and their families, and collect lifesaving blood.”

Members of the Erie County Chamber of Commerce have been invited to the opening, and will be offered cocktails and hors d’oeuvres during the event.  Mike Parks, Regional CEO of the Red Cross of Northeast Ohio, will also attend the event.
